Akabuka Community Salutes Obuah Over Sim’s Running Mate, Prof. Ngozi Odu

The people of Akabuka community in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area have commended former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, Bro. Felix Obuah for the solidarity shown to their daughter, Prof. Ngozi Odu, who is the PDP Deputy Governorship Candidate.

On the delegation to the residence of Bro. Obuah who is the immediate past Sole Administrator of the Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA) for the visit on Sunday, was the Ochioha III of Akabuka Community, HRH, Eze Lucky Ben Nwokoro, Dr. Sam Izidor (Community Coordinator), CDC Chairman, Comrade Okechukwu Sam, Sunny Ogide, as well as the Youth Chairman and his Secretary, among others.

Speaking on behalf of the community, CDC Chairman, Comrade Okechukwu Sam thanked Bro. Obuah for his leadership and support for their daughter, and finding her worthy to be presented to Governor Nyesom Wike and the leaders of the PDP in the state.

The CDC Chairman assured that Akabuka Community and the entire Egi clan would not let the PDP down in effort to ensure that the governorship flag bearer, Amaopusenibo Siminialayi Fubara makes it to the Brick House come 2023, praying that God would bless Bro. Obuah for all he stood for in Ogbaland.

Responding, Bro. Obuah, who is the Oso-Emeri 1 of Ogbaland lauded the delegation for the honour done him, but noted that he never did anything leading to the emergence of Prof. Ngozi Odu, but that the Governor did, giving all glory to God.

Obuah acknowledged that the position given to the Akabuka people and Ogba as a whole, is well deserved, noting that since the political era of Rivers State, Akabuka has never been given any meaningful position by any government.

“This time, God has remembered the people of Akabuka for good, and this opportunity should not be taken for granted.  I urge you people to go home and canvas for support and unite every one, make peace where necessary”, Obuah advised.
