House of Assembly Candidate Challenges Opponents To The Polls

…Says He is Strongly In The Race

The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) House of Assembly Candidate for Port Harcourt Constituency III, Christian Amadi has advised his opponents to be courageous enough to face the challenges of the elections rather than peddling unfounded rumours to deceive voters.

Mr Amadi said this while reacting to the rumours making the rounds that he has stepped down for his opponent in the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Mr Maxi Orlu.

The APGA Chieftain, and House of Assembly hopeful said the baseless rumour was the handiwork of one Onyekachi Orlu, who is a younger brother to the ACN Assembly candidate. Christian Amadi reiterated his strong resolve to pursue his desire to contest the election and emerge victorious to a logical conclusion, stressing he is a better material compared to other candidates for the same office in his constituency.

He recalled how other contestants were intimidated out of a recent political debate by the Port Harcourt City Students Association because of his rich credentials.

Mr Amadi appealed to his numerous supporters to remain steadfast and discountenance the rumour by his opponents to deceive them. “I'm strongly in the race and have no reason to step down for anybody, and will definitely bring the dividends of democracy to my constituents and will never renege on my election promises”, he declared.

He also condemned in strong terms the quit notice allegedly served on tenants by some landlords around Gambia axis of Port Harcourt for supporting APGA.

Mr Amadi described this as undemocratic and primitive.###
