Gov. Sylva, Others Sue For Peace

Inspite of the insecurity problem and other challenges facing
the Nigeria Nation, the Bayelsa State Governor, Chief Timipre
Sylva has called on the Niger Deltans, and entire youths to
embrace peace.
Addressing Airport correspondents at the Port Harcourt
International Airport Omagwa, recently Sylva said, no family,
local government, state or nation can progress without peace,
adding that, peace is the only panacea towards achieving
progress and unity.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of Bayelsa State what
was required now mostly is peace and not conflict, saying peace
should be sustained in order to allow the president to achieve
his good dreams for the Nation, adding that, Nigerians are
expected to give Mr President full supports.
In the same vein, the Peoples Democratic Party's candidate for
the 2012 governorship election in Bayelsa State, Hon Seriaki
Dickson has appealed to all youths in Bayelsa, and Niger Delta
to embrace peace and support the recent removal of fuel subsidy
so as to allow the Nation achieve economic growth which is for
the good of all.
Hon. Dickson who wished Bayelsans prosperous happy new year
disclosed that, the Bayelsans had faced a harrowing situation,
very difficult and trying time assured them that 2012 and other
years to come would not be the same saying it would be
celebration just like the birth of Jesus Christ with adequate
infrastructure put on ground.
He also maintained that, Bayelsa State would notice
transformation in all ramifications with all structures that are
moribund revived and restructured.###
