Christ Apostolic Church Changes Leadership  Baton

By Gilbert Amadi

After fifteen years of effective and efficient service as president at the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) of Nigeria, Pastor Elijah Oluseye has handed the batten of leadership over to Pastor Abraham Akinosun.

Oluseye who disclosed this to Airport Correspondent at the Port Harcourt International Airport said he was in Port Harcourt in connection with his retirement mission and to greet members of the Church in Rivers and Eastern States.

He told newsmen that his Church members had set up a celebration to thank him for the good job he did at CAC for the past fifteen years.

Pastor Oluseye said for the past 15 years he had devoted his life in serving God, stressing that by dent of hard work he had taken the church to greater heights and established a university for the church at Osun State. He said he had equally planted branches of CAC to the nooks and crannies of Nigeria and had his members united in service of God.

Admonishing the new president of CAC, the former president said leadership is not very easy, stressing that Pastor Abrahim Akinosun should follow his footstep while calling on members to always pray for him to achieve success.

Responding, the new president Pastor Akinosun thanked God for the legacies his predecessor left behind, while calling on members  to support his administration to move the church to even more greater heights.###
