Business Icon Lauds Jonathan On Removal  Of Fuel Subsidy

By Gilbert Amadi

The Managing Director of Goshen Services Group Port Harcourt, Sir Franklin Ojukwu had commended President Goodluck Jonathan for removing subsidy on fuel and for setting up a committee to look into the petroleum sector.

By setting up the committee, the Managing Director remarked, the president had shown that he is a leader with credibility and determined to sanitize the sector.

According to him, people do erroneously believe that probe is synonymous with embezzlement, stressing that is rather a programme to make people understand what  government is all about and have confidence in leaders.

He advised that the probe should be deep enough in order to unravel the canker worm that had eaten deep into the oil sector and thereby curb corruption.

Sir Ojukwu said all those the probe panel indicted should be brought to book as a deterrent to others.

The Managing Director said he has contributed greatly to the growth of Nigeria economy by offering employments to thousands of Nigerians, while calling on the citizens to support President Goodluck Jonathan's transformational agenda.###
