APGA Dep. Gov'ship Candidate  Hopes To Displace Amaechi

…Says Monorail Project Is Unrealistic Though God's will may tarry but it must surely come to pass.

These were the words of Hon Tamunosisi Gogo-Jaja, former majority leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly during Dr Peter Odili administration, and running mate to Sir Celestine Omehia in the April 26, 2012 governorship election in the State while fielding questions from newsmen Saturday, August 11, 2012 during a church service at Chapel of Glory, Port Harcourt to mark his 45th Birthday Anniversary.

Hon Gogo Jaja who is optimistic that his boss, Omehia will come out tops in the legal battle to snatch the governorship victory from the incumbent, Chibuike Amaechi said it was the will of God that APGA will take over the occupation of the Brick House as soon as the court ruling is given.

He enjoined their teeming supporters in the state to remain calm, faithful and prayerful even in the face of provocation, hoping that in the end, victory will be theirs.

On his former ally's (Amaechi) monorail project, Hon Gogo-Jaja dismissed that as a white elephant project that may never be completed.

The project he said, was initially designed to run from Oyigbo to Eleme Junction to Waterlines but is now limited between Station Road to UTC with on three residential houses in between, yet it will hardly succeed.

He likened Amaechi's claims on development to home movies.

All there are according to him, are schools without teachers, students still learning under trees, abject poverty and no action in the rural committees etc.###
