Late Chief Godknows Erim Laid  To Rest

The remains of Chief Godknows Erim was led to rest on Saturday January, 28 at his family compound, Mgbuitanwo in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The deceased who was 75 until his death, according to his children, was born on may 13th, 1936 to the family of late Chief/Mrs. Worluigiri Jonah Erim of Mgbuitanwo.

Speaking to national network after his burial, the acting chairman of Emohua local government council, Hon. Ndidi Erim, who is incidentally the second son of the deceased, said his father lived a worthy life while on earth, adding that he devoted all his time in serving God. Hon. Erim said the most remarkable legacy his father left behind for them was a life full of trust and dedication to the service of humanity.

According to the chairman, his late father while on earth worked in many companies, was a community leader and held various political positions in Emolga and will be remembered for his good behavior and patience.

Among those who witnessed his burial ceremony were, Hon Friday Enyie, former vice chairman Emolga, Hon Allen Nma, suspended chairman Emolga and Hon Bright Ikonne, Cashier Rivers State Government House.###
