Wokekoro Thumps-Up For Former  Ogun State Governor

By Chris Konkwo

The former Mayor of Port Harcourt, and immediate past chairman of Rivers State Environmental Sanitation Agency, Chief Nnamdi Wokekoro has lauded the landmark achievements of the former Ogun State governor, Gbenga Daniel.

Chief Wokekoro was in the ancient city of Shagamu to commiserate with the former governor over the death of his father, late Most Rev Abraham Adebola Daniel.

Marvelled by the impressive transformation of the State particularly Shagamu by the Daniel Gbenga administration, Chief Wokekoro, the Ikwerre I of Ikwerre land said the former governor deserved special honour for his vision and taste.

He commended Gbenga Daniel for using the limited resources of his State judiciously the evidence of which is the physical development of a once thick forest.

Chief Wokekoro enjoined other State governors to borrow a leaf from Gbenga Daniel's altruistic life-style.

On the death of his father, Pa Abraham Adebola Denial, Chief Wokekoro said for a living a good and exemplary life which has robbed off on his governor – son, Gbenga God rewarded Pa Abraham A. Daniel with long life.

Though painful to lose a dear father, the former Port Harcourt Mayor enjoined the bereaved Daniel family to take solace in God's kindness and the good works their father did one of which was giving the State a great man and a worthy governor. He also prayed God to grant the soul of late Pa Daniel peaceful rest.###
