Ogoni Youths Attack Amaechi- Ogoni Youths, under the aegis of Ogoni Youth Council (OYC)
have condemned the recent
uncomplimentary remarks made by Governor
Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers State to the
effect that Ogoni Youths are
hostage-takers, kidnappers and criminals
of the first order, adding that the
youths of Ogoni land are behind the
myriads of kidnappings and large scale
violence in the area.

dwindling opposition in the State, the
former majority leader of the State
House of Assembly under Dr. Odili
administration, Hon Tamunosisi Gogo-Jaja
said he has been the target of suspected
