Eminent Rivers Ministers Network Emerges

In furtherance to the resolve by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to strengthen and unify Christians against common enemies, some indigenous clergymen have formed a new body known as Eminent Rivers Network.

According to the Vision Leader of this project and General Overseer of the End-Time Prophetic Prayer Network, Port Harcourt, Bishop Godswill E.D. Jumbo, there is need to reach out more to the unreached as well as to revive the evangelical foundation of the founding fathers of faith of Rivers State”, he said.

He said the aim of the Forum is basically to revive the burning desires of the elder clergymen towards righteousness and holiness adding that though the Forum has no political undertone the Bible confirms that the profit of the earth belongs to all and so that it is not out of place if God blesses the work of their hands at the end.

Bishop Jumbo disclosed further that it is this negative trend in the society that has increased all the ills including cultism and cult-related crimes, adding that there is need for every hand to be on deck to nip the challenges in the bud.

The Vision bearer said their effort is in consonance with the larger Christian body as they are all bonifide members of CAN. 

Inaugurating the state executive of the Forum, the General Overseer of the Freshland Mission Inc, Rumuola, Port Harcourt, Apostle Mike Alelo charged them to ensure that the Forum complements the effort of CAN to sanitize the society in the interest and well-being of all.

He stated that there was no situation prayers could not change and urged them to be steadfast in God’s work while the divine benefits would come later.

Apostle Alelo further informed that the local government area and ward structures will follow suit on later dates, stressing that their mission must be achieved.

Those inaugurated were, Bishop Godswill E.D. Jumbo – Int’l Pioneer Vision Bearer; Bishop (Dr) Frank T. Benson, JP – Director General; Apostle Mike Alelo – General Secretary; Pst. Victor O. Maduenyi – Asst General Secretary; Rev. Dr. Gabriel Azuogu E., Administrator-General; Apostle, Paul T. Bonalo – Prayer Intercession Coordinator and Pastor Godwin I. Banigo – Treasurer.

Others were: Bishop Stephen R. Wordu – Chairman, Advisory Board; Pastor E.T. George Esq – Legal Adviser; Apostle (Mrs) Juliet F. Benson (JP) – Director, Welfare Affairs; Special Snr Apostle, Eze (Dr) Sam Ugo Onyeka – Director Chieftaincy Affairs; Pastor (Mrs) Salome Opuwari – Director Women Affairs; Apostle Anele Peter Greatness – Director Youth Affairs and Rev Sylvanus Sunday Ebeku, JP – Director Mobilization Affairs.
