2 DPOs Fired, Two Others Issued Last Warning By Rivers CP

…George Ariolu Laments Insecurity In Oil mill Junction

The Divisional Police Officers of Ahoada and Akinima Police Divisions in Ahoada East and West Local Government Areas have been relieved of their duty as DPOs by Commissioner of Police, CP Nwonyi Emeka over rising insecurity while two other DPOs in charge of Oilmill/Eleme Junction were issued last warning.

We gathered that CP Emeka in a bid to ensure cultism and other violent crimes are effectively tackled in Ahoada East and Ahoada West LGAs which have become breeding grounds for cultists, deployed a seasoned crime fighter, as DPO in Akinima Police Division and SP Bako Angbashim, ex- DPO of Bori Police Division who is a celebrated crime fighter as DPO of Ahoada.

SP Angbashim was very instrumental in the killing of ‘Boboski’ the Rivers most wanted Kidnapper and in the killing of ‘small witch’ in Andoni.

Sources from the two communities  told our reporter that the news of deployment of the seasoned crime fighters to the two divisions in the areas is now a source of concern to hoodlums as it may not be business as usual for the gang members.

SP Grace Iringe Koko, spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command confirmed the redeployment of DPOs of Ahoada and Akinima Police Divisions.
