God’s Delay Not Denial, Cleric Declares

…As Apostle George Celebrates 50th Birthday Anniversary

Christians have once again been admonished to always wait patiently for God’s own time as His delay is never a denial.

According to Apostle Jerry Oguguo of the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim & Seraphim Church, Diobu Province in Port Harcourt during his sermon at the thanksgiving service “after praying to God, it is important for one to patiently wait for Him to perfect and release the package at His own time, as His blessing adds no sorrow”, he said.

In the sermon titled “Oh Lord remember me”, the preacher made it known that even mothers don’t forget their suckling babies, and so it is with the Lord, pointing out that since it is difficult for a woman to forget or ignore the demands of her babies, it is also difficult for God to neglect or ignore the request of His creatures.

The man of God explained that when it appears He is not  answering, God is perfecting a better package and to be released  at an appropriate time as God is in a better position to know our needs from our wants.

In his testimony, the celebrant, Supervising Apostle Franklin George (JP) said he is particularly grateful to God for His faithfulness in this life especially for miraculously healing him of a spiritual attack that almost took his life last year.

In his testimony, “My 50 years existence from birth has been very eventful even my mother had a delay child bearing experience for years before my miraculous arrival,” he narrated.

Mr. George who is the National President, Association for Non Violence and Peace Educators, an NGO fighting for the institutionalization of non-violence and peace education in Nigeria’s educational curriculum said he is using this opportunity to rededicate his eventful life to the work of God and humanity.

“This second half of my life is devouted to God’s work and humanity and I pray for divine empowerment to accomplish my request,” he declared.

Many important personalities who graced the occasion, prayed for the long life and good health of the celebrant. Highlight of the event was the cutting of the Birthday cake with friends and well-wishers.
