“Earthquake” Averted As Atikulation Train Locks Down Kano

A fresh record in political mobilization in electioneering was set in Kano on Sunday as the Presidential Campaign train of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) arrived the Commercial nerve centre of the North.

The wonderful crowd was unprecedented as the city was locked down that even the stream the the Atikulation Train was the Presidential Candidate could not flow into the venue due to the extremely jubilant crowd.

The venue of the rally was filled to the capacity and those who could not get access spilled into the town.

A drive distanceless than ten minutes from Airport to the Tomb of the great Talakwa Politician Aminu Kano for prayer, took the Presidential candidate over an hour and more to get to the Palace of the Emir of Kano for Courtesy visit.

A wall collapsed as the great crowd surged to get a glimpse of the Presidential candidate and his team at the tomb of the late selfless politicians called Mambaya House, now center for Democratic Studies of the Bayero University, Kano.

At the Palace of the Emir, the Presidential candidate, Atiku told Sanusi Sanusi that he was in the Palace with his team to seek his blessings before going to address his subjects for votes.

The Emir urged Politicians to play by the rule and ensure a free, fair and credible election.

From 11am when the Presidential candidate and his team arrived Kano, he was only able to reach the venue of the venue of the rally at 6pm as the giant crowd spilled into the streets, obstructing traffic, following him to all the places he visited.

The Former Governor of Kano State and the Hero of Kwakwasiyya, Dr. Rabiu KwaKwaso led the pack of other leaders including the Presidential candidate, Atiku, The National Chairman of the Party, Prince Uche Secondus, The Vice Presidential candidate, Peter Obi and the Senate President and Director of the Campaign, Dr. Bukola Saraki to praise the crowd and pronounced APC dead in Kano.
