…Wants Him Promoted To ‘Dr Of Projects’
In light of the laudable developmental strides of Gov. Nyesom Wike in his first tenure, he should be elevated from ‘Mr. Projects’ to ‘Dr. of Projects’, Hon. Deacon Princewill Enyi has suggested.
Princewill Enyi who is the Governorship Candidate of New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) moved the motion during a solidarity visit to His Excellency in Government House, Port- Harcourt by the 86 registered political parties for the 2019 general elections in Rivers State.
The motion was supported and adopted by all Inter-party Advisory Council (IPAC) arrowheads present with no absention.
All the IPAC members expressed satisfaction with the efforts and achievements of Gov. Wike in the last four years and agreed that he deserved the victory he recorded in the March 9 Governorship election in the State, thereby conceding defeat to Gov. Wike whom they renamed as “His Political Highness” of Rivers State.
In his speech earlier, the IPAC Chairman in the State, Sir Precious Baridom, informed Gov. Wike that they were in Govt. House in solidarity and to reaffirm their unalloyed support to him.
According to them, based on the governorship election results already collated before the suspension of the electoral process in the State by INEC, it was crystal clear that Gov. Wike overwhelmingly won the election to which they have conceded.
They congratulated Wike and wished him well as he positioned for his second term in office as the State Chief Executive.
Gov. Wike in his remarks, thanked the visiting Governorship candidates and assured them of continued good governance and more developmental strides in the state.
