Wike To Commence Stomach Infrastructure  Soon

The Rivers State government will soon commence stomach infrastructure in order to satisfy people of the state, Governor Nyesom Wike has promised.

Governor Wike stated this at  commissioning ceremony of the dualized Oro-Abali flyover in Port-Harcourt City Local Government Area  on Tuesday.

The governor said that having done physical infrastructure, he would now begin stomach infrastructure saying that stomach infrastructure is an essential part of governance.

He said that people had expected that he would first do stomach infrastructure at the beginning of his tenure but he needed to do physical infrastructure before doing stomach infrastructure.

He said that he would empower the people of the state.

Governor Wike who described Rivers State as the most peaceful state thanked people of the state for their support.

He said that he would dualize Iloabuchi Street in Port-Harcourt City Local Government Area.

The Special Guest of Honour and Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed, in his remarks said that he was privileged to flag-off on Monday tenth flyover in Rivers State and was pleased to commission the dualized Oro-Abali flyover.

The Bauchi State governor said that Governor Wike’s urban renewal programme was unique, saying that what he had done could only be rivalled by Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and by projects executed by Kaduna State governor.

He said that projects done by Governor Wike had clear achievable timeline saying that there was also 80 per cent payment before commencement.

The governor commended Governor Wike for executing so many projects in his second term saying he had sincerity of purpose.

The Bauchi State governor also said Governor Wike is executing projects as legacies.

He said that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was proud of the governor and would want him to come to the centre of administration and impact on Nigerians and thanked people of the state for giving him to the country.

The Bauchi State governor also thanked the people of the state for supporting the governor to achieve his developments.
