PHACCIMA Eulogizes Eze Mike Elechi

…As He Celebrates His Birthday Anniversary In Grand Style

The President of the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PHACCIMA), Chief Nabil Saleh and his Executive on Monday September 30, 2019 took time off their busy schedule to give his first deputy president, Eze Sir Mike Elechi (JP) a surprised bash on his birthday anniversary.

Speaking separately at the event that took place in their boardroom, the executive members including Chief Iyke Ochia, Hon. Isaac Wonwu, Prince Charles Beke and Chief (Barr) Oris Onyiri, Chairman, Civil Service Commission Port Harcourt confirmed the experienced, dexterity and philanthropy of the celebrant.

According to them, “since Sir Mike Elechi came into the organization, a lot of things changed for the better and as we wish him more fruitful years ahead, we urge him to hold firmly those sterling qualities that has distinguished him in the society”.

Chief Wonwu, the Labour Party Governorship candidate in the last general election advised Eze Elechi to extend his hands of fellowship to the down trodden in the society, now that God has blessed him abundantly for him to continue to tap for his blessing.

Friends, well-wishers and business associates were among those who joined in celebrating the special event which originally was planned to be low-keyed.

Responding, the celebrant, Eze Sir Mike Elechi thanked God for His faithfulness in his life and promised to rededicate his life to God and humanitarian services.

In a chat with newsmen, Sir Elechi confessed that he has no regret in life “I am satisfied with my life and have no regrets. God has been very faithful to me. I feel very young, fulfilled and grateful to God”, he stated.

He used the opportunity to congratulate Nigeria on her 59th Independent Anniversary celebration but noted that there was not much to be celebrated actually.

“I don’t think my children will be happy to exist in this type of environment. Things are not the way there are supposed to be. To me, I don’t think Nigeria is worth celebrating”. We have left undone too many things”, he lamented.

On what could be done to get the country out of the wood, the PHACCIMA first deputy president said Nigeria needs reorganization, reappraisal and reassessment, adding that if nothing is done and urgently too, the nation is going into extinction.

“Nigeria needs the right leaders, the right governance and the right public to be put in place, it is a collective responsibilities”. We have actually lost our values as a nation.

The Commissioner I in the Rivers State Civil Service Commission made it known that some people compromised to elect the type of leaders that are in place and so we deserve what we get.

He however said there was hope for the country because there is God and the resources are still there “With the right turn around and right leaders on the saddle, that Nigeria will be great again.

Eze Sir Mike Elechi used the opportunity to congratulate Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for his successful second tenure 100 days in office with its attendant project delivery as well as the successful celebration of the nation’s 59th Independent Anniversary celebration, urging the citizenry to keep on praying and supporting our leaders to do more in the interest of all.
