COVID-19: The Truth Is Superior To Facts – Pst. Ajadi

The minister-in-charge (M.I.C.), Rhema Chapel International Churches Port Harcourt, Pastor Abiola Ajadi has stressed the need for Christians to remain resolute in elevating the truth above facts by exercising their faith, in the face of the coronavirus scourge  currently ravaging nations of the world.

He stated this during Sunday service while delivering a message titled “The Power of Truth”, Pastor Ajadi declared to the congregation that the truth is prepared for those who will enter into the promised land despite any evidence of contrary situation. He said: “The truth we declare will make us survive this season. Many spread rumours about what is going on. God does not need the majority, but one voice to speak.

“Many are afraid to be in church because of evil report of contracting the virus. People say negative things because they are not conscious of God’s presence.”

The man of God quoted from the book of Numbers 13:17-33, narrating how spies were sent out to spy the land. According to him, those sent out reported what they saw, but majority of them brought evil report, while only two others returned with a good report. Pastor Ajadi stated that, no matter what, facts cannot deny the truth, just as “truth is the true state of a matter, which stands for what God can do.”

On the need for Christians to act in faith by declaring what God is saying in his Word, the Pastor urged believers to always be committed to speaking the active Word of God over any contrary situation, as well as the need for change through renewal of the mind.

The Sunday service witnessed as part of its highlights, prayers for the nation, the sick and the church based on individual needs at this time in the world history.

The church also ensured that certain protocols according to government guidelines were followed, such as hand washing and registration of persons before coming together for service. There was also observance of 50 persons at a time in the church auditorium, to pave the way for social distancing.
