Northern Peace Ambassadors Initiative Rejoices With Gov Siminalayi Over Election Petitions Tribunal Victory

As the Rivers State Election Petitions Tribunal victory of Governor Siminalayi Fubara continues to generate reactions within and outside the state, the Northern Peace Ambassadors Initiative under their leader, and executive chairman, Alh. Salihu Ibrahim (Dari) has lent their voice in commendation of the Tribunal judgement declaring Gov Fubara dully and legitimately elected by the mass of Rivers people.

In one accord, the Northern Peace Ambassadors Initiative, the umbrella body of all Christians and Muslims resident in Rivers State after their general congress, resolved to continue to co-operate and identify with the Fubara administration against the backdrop of his quality leadership and love for all other ethnic groups living in the state.

The leader of the Northern Peace Ambassadors in the state, Alhaji Salihu Ibrahim (Dari) who set the ball rolling, outlined the numerous achievements of Governor Siminalayi Fubara that have placed him above his peers, charged his kith and kin to continue to share their usual love and co-operation with their host community, Rivers State, as they carry on with their business activities in the State.

Alh. Ibrahim envisioned Rivers State striving higher and higher under Gov Fubara given his peaceful disposition and love for all.

Also congratulating His Excellency, on his 100 days in office and the 63rd Independence Anniversary of Nigeria, Alh. Salihu Ibrahim (Dari) said under the resign of Sir Siminalayi Fubara-led government, he foresees continued prosperity marked by progress and unity among all the Rivers people irrespective ethnicity or political affiliation.

The youthful leader of the Northern Christians  and Muslims in Rivers State under the aegis of Peace Ambassadors Initiative however, enjoined Gov Fubara to remain focused, and disregard peddlers of misinformation who will stop at nothing to incite disaffection between government and the electorate, the rulers and the ruled, host communities and their guests and so on and so forth for their selfish interests.

According to Alhaji Salihu Ibrahim, the members of Northern Peace Ambassadors Initiative are law abiding people who have the interest of Rivers State and Nigeria at heart.

He urged the unsuspecting members of the public to be wary of the sometimes misrepresentation of their association by some faceless miscreants, stressing that his people are friendly, law abiding and passionate about the mutual co-existence and cordial relationship between them and their host state.

“It is on this note, that I want to urge Gov Siminalayi Fubara, the Rivers State government and the good people of Rivers State to continue to see us as good friends and partners in the common effort of making Rivers State the best place to live and do business for all Nigerians in this country”, Alh Salihu Ibrahim (Dari) assured.
