Team Felix Obuah Inaugurates LGA Coordinators

…Charges Them To Be Focused

A political Association Campaigning for the aspiration of the immediate past state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bro Felix Amaechi Obuah to succeed governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike in office in the next year’s general election, has put in place it’s local government structures to achieve its goal.

The inauguration which took place over the weekend in Port Harcourt witnessed the members of the State Working Committee (SWC) and other stakeholders of the group.

The Director-General of the group, Dr. Precious Baridoo who presided over the event charged the members of the group and indeed the coordinators to be good ambassadors of the PDP, the platform which Obuah will use for his aspiration as governor come 2023.

He made it clear that PDP as a party demands nothingless than 100% loyalty from members of the group just as their principal was a loyal party member to everyone which he said made him acceptable by all.

Also speaking, the deputy Director-General of the group, Hon. Miller O. Miller reminded the LGA coordinators that they were meticulously chosen because of their proven track records in working for the party. He pointed out that the game is about to start in their effort to install Bro Obuah as the next governor and therefore demands them to be focus and to double their commitment for the task ahead.

Hon. Miller stated that if Obuah who is popularly known as “Go Round” is allowed to fly the flag of the party in the election, he will surely win based on his popularity and acceptability in the state.

“And if Bro Obuah becomes the next state governor, he noted, he will build on the achievements of His Excellency, Dr Nyesom Ezenwo Wike and take the state to the next level.

Members of the State Working Committee present includes: Sir, Dr. Precious B. Baridoo, Director General; Hon. Miller O. Miller, Deputy Director General; Comrade Abednego Oli Benjamin, State Secretary; Chief Dr. Goodluck Nwobike, State Publicity Secretary; Charles C. Uchegbu Esq, State Legal Adviser; and Hon Elem Chinweike, State Org/Welfare Secretary.

Addressing the inaugurated 23 local government areas coordinators, the State Publicity Secretary, Chief Dr. Goodluck Nwobike urged them to start mobilizing support for the principal in their various domain and to ensure that their supporters are in procession of their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVCs).

He reminded the coordinators that the success of the group is hinged on the structure of the Wards as the foundation and appealed to them to appoint persons of high repute to positions of trust.

Other members of the SWC who addressed the coordinators were the Legal Adviser and the State Org/Welfare Secretary.

The highlight of the event was the distribution of Team Felix Obuah’s T-shirts and face caps to all he LGA Coordinators by the Director-General as well as a group photograph.
