The Bishop of the Niger Delta North, Wisdom Ihunwo has commended the Vice Chancellor of Rivers State University, Prof. Blessing Chimezie Didia for taking Proactive steps in ensuring peace at the University.
Bishop Wisdom Ihunwo who made the commendation during a courtesy visit to Vice Chancellor in Port Harcourt, noted that the negative stories witnessed at other institutions were absent at the University.
The Bishop of Niger Delta North, also expressed Satisfaction with the achievements of the Vice Chancellor since his assumption of office and urged him to sustain the tempo.
He who prayed for the continued Peace and progress of the University and the State, invited the Vice Chancellor and management of the University to this year’s Synod taking place at St Thomas Anglican Church, Port Harcourt.
Earlier on, the Vice Chancellor of Rivers State University, Prof. Blessing Chimezie Didia, had stressed the role the Church has played in the transformation of the University.
The University administrator reiterated his commitment to always place God first in the running of the University and thanked the Bishop and his team for the honour for visiting the University###
