The Sole Administrator of Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA), Bro Felix Obuah is highly impressed with the ongoing fumigation of all the public places across the state.
Bro Obuah who spoke on the sidelines after the State COVID-19 Decontamination Team in charge of decontaminating public places in the state over the weekend took the exercise to some major locations in Port Harcourt and Obio/Akpor Local Government Areas including Oginigba Slaughter Market, Trans Amadi Car Park/environs, Slaughter Veterinary Clinic, the Federal Secretariat Complex, Aba Road and the Hotel Presidential section of Aba Road, amongst others said the step taken by the governor to decontaminate public places in the State was in the right direction.
He observed that the three-step-approach comprising fumigation; steam spraying which contains effective disinfectants that have been confirmed very active for combating the virus; and disinfectant smoke spraying was a well reasoned idea to ensure that no stone was left unturned in the fight against the pandemic.
The RIWAMA Sole Administrator, Bro Obuah lauded Gov Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for the wisdom and initiative to further checkmate the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the State by fumigating all public places which are possible points to contact the disease.
According to the RIWAMA boss, it takes only a truly proactive leader to go the extra mile as Gov Wike has demonstrated to ensure that the precious lives of the people are safeguarded.
Bro Obuah enjoined the people of the State not to relent in prayers as Gov Wike deploys his God-given wisdom in the effort to stem the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic in the State.
