As the Rivers State governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike celebrates his 52nd birthday, the monarch of Apara kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Eze Chike Amadi Worlu Wodo (JP), has x-rayed the governor’s performance in office and scored him high on infrastructural development.
According to His Majesty, Governor Wike has performed beyond expectation, stressing that he had spread developmental projects across the 23 local government areas of the State.
Describing Governor Wike as a distinguished son of Apara kingdom, Eze Wodo said with the exception of Diete Spiff who was governor under the Old Rivers State, no other governor had done as much as Wike has done for the people.
His Majesty who is the Eze Oha Opara IV said Governor Wike’s achievements were very visible in the areas of road, health, education, entertainment and security, stressing that these were areas that directly affect the masses positively.
“I am very proud with the achievements of this our illustrious son and I pray that the Almighty God will continue to keep him for many more years to do more for the people of Rivers State”, Eze Wodo said.
The Eze Oha Apara said the governor’s outstanding performance is the qualification he requires to coast home to victory in the 2019 governorship election.
Eze Wodo told National Network that he had sensitized Apara and Obio/Akpor people to vote for the governor in 2019 while calling on Rivers people to support his ambition to come back to Government House to continue his good work.
He congratulated the governor on his birthday and wished him many more years of fruitful service to Rivers people and humanity.
