…As He Clocks 35
One of the aids to the Mayor of Port Harcourt, Hon. Wechie, Ndubuisi Raymond alias Abacha has just celebrated God’s faithfulness in his life as he marked his 35th Birthday Anniversary recently.
According to him, “I cannot thank God enough for all he has been doing in my life and the entire family.
God has used the Mayor of Port Harcourt, Hon Victor Nyeche Ihunwo alias “Excess Power” to elevate my life and I cannot appreciate him enough. I pray God to grant him good health and wisdom to continue to touch people’s live positively”, he stated.
Mr. Wechie was equally grateful to his colleagues in the office at the Port Harcourt Local Government Council who have in one way or the other contributed to his life which he noted, has brought him to the level he is presently.
He promised to rededicate his entire life to the services of God and humanity. The occasion was equally used by a group under the aegis of Grassroots Journalists Association (GJA) to present an Award of Excellence to Mr. Wechie for what they observed as his contributions to the society especially his partnership with the media for the good of the society.
Mr. Wechie in his reaction thanked the group for the Award, saying that the gesture is going to spur him to do more for the society.
The young politician who has been the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Youth Leader and Organizing Secretary of ward 10 Phalga at different times said he wished to be the state chairman of the party someday.
The amiable leader whose friendship cut across party lines advised that the political parties should be reduced to four (4), to allow credible politicians to be elected into positions of trust, as well as for easy and cost control.
In his speech, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Phalga, Comrade Fedinald Nwachukwu alias “Father” while congratulating the celebrant, urged him to keep up what he described as his leadership style which he noted has earned him more friends across the party lines.
He promised the continues support of their friends for the celebrant’s growth in life.
