The Mgbundukwu Community in Mile II Diobu Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State has joined other groups to mobilize support for Gov Nyesom Ezenwo Wike to make himself available for the 2023 presidency in order to help rescue the country from total collapse.
Speaking to newsmen during one of their house-to-house campaign programmes in the community, the Paramount Ruler/Nyenweli Mgbundukwu Community, HRH, Eze Owabie Tobin said they were convinced that Wike has the capacity and willpower to do the job perfectly hence their involvement to actualize their dream. The Monarch further said the community was ready to contribute and purchase the Nomination Form for the governor.
The Eze Onumini I of Ikwerre land said from the governor’s excellent performance is the state, he is sure it will not be hard to sell his candidature to the other states.
He made it clear that among those aspiring to take over from president Muhammadu Bihari in 2023,Wike is the most qualified especially at this point in Nigeria’s history.
He expressed gratitude that even the whole of Ikwerre Ethnic nationality have supported his idea of projecting the governor for the rescue mission.
On the current insecurity ravaging the country, Eze Owabie said with a sincere and determined leadership on the saddle, the situation will change for the better.
He however disclosed that no country negotiates or compromises with terrorists or bandits and succeeds.
“The military is there to deal with internal insurgency and external aggression squarely. Also the security architecture must be reorganized and restructured to suit current situation”, he said.
The Royal Father however, expressed optimism that Nigeria will be great again after 2023.
He used the opportunity to appeal to the next political aspirants to be dedicated and focused as according to him this political dispensation is critical for the country and so requires dedicated and patriotic politicians for the rescue mission.
Eze Owazie also used the opportunity to congratulate the paramount ruler/Nyenweli Rebisi Kingdom, HRH Eze (Barr.) Uche Isaiah Elikwu for winning the Rebisi Chieftaincy stool tussle in court and pledged the loyalty and support of Mgbundukwu community of Diobu to his administration.
He advised the new monarch to unite and carry everyone along in his administration in order to reign peacefully and leave good legacies.
