According to the group, they discovered that at the end of their six months scrutiny, Chief Odiari recorded giant strides in the areas of Electricity supply, human capital development and infrastructural projects across the 13 wards of Asalga.
Mr. Emmanuel Nkweke, a member of the group pointed out that being a council boss is a call to service, adding that the council chairman honoured has distinguished himself among his colleagues with outstanding performances.
The chairman of the occasion, Arch. Bishop (Prof.) Chidi Ehirindo expressed joy for being identified with a progressive and positive gathering such as the epoch-making occasion.
According to him, the organization had carried out investigation through its assessment team which showed that the awardee emerged as the overall best performing chairman and urged other local government chairmen who could not made it feel challenged and ensure that they increased their performance rate so as to leave a legacy that people would remember them for.
Responding, Chief Princewill thanked the group for the honour done to him and said that the award bestowed on him would spur him to do more and that the recognition had also made him realize that people are watching his activities.
He however, dedicated the award to the people of Asalga for giving him the opportunity to serve them and also attributing the remarkable achievement to the inspiration gotten from the Executive Governor of Rivers State, Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike for his outstanding leadership clout and development plan in Rivers State.
