“I am sure with our strength, zeal, patriotism and training, we shall be of immense support to Rivers people. Beside as an Ikwerre man who is privileged to rise to this height I am sure to make a difference.

We should be given a chance to contribute to our fatherland in this regards”, he stated.

He advised the governor to look inward and locate those who are ready and willing to contribute to his administration, irrespective of their political leanings, as this is time for governance.

On the total lockdown imposed in parts of the State by the state governor, Commander Rissi while advising the residents to have patience and hope in the Lord for its quick disappearance from the globe, appealed to the governor to periodically open food shops or skeletal markets as well find a method of empowering the people since most of them don’t have money to make any purchases as a result of the long sit-at-home occasioned by the pandemic.
