Man O’ War Nigeria Battle Ready To Crush Boko Haram – Commander Rissi

Worried by the insecurity ravaging the country, the Man O’ War Nigeria has volunteered themselves to the authorities to be given the opportunity to flush out the “Boko Haram” and other terrorists groups in the country.

The deputy National Commander, Man O’ War Nigeria Operations Intelligence & Rescue, , Rev. (Amb.) Kriss Natty Rissi disclosed this to newsmen on his return from Abuja, FCT where they went for the induction and inauguration of the State Commanders of the group and their deputies including the Railway Command making 38.

Commander Rissi who is also known as the very honourable speaker and defender of the less privileged said what they required is to be equipped and they will flush out the criminal elements from the country within days, adding that after all they are also young youths like themselves too.

“We are fully trained and battle ready to defend our country, enough of this nonsense” he fumed.

Commander Rissi however, blamed the security situation on the politicians. “No country survives this kind of situation if security is politicized. When the right persons are positioned against these criminalities and with the right tools and the right motivation, the story will change.

On Rivers State politics, Commander Rissi said he is not only delighted over the excellent performance of Governor Nyesom Wike as a governor but his courage to aspire for the president of Nigeria in order to help in salvaging the country.

“As an ikwerre man, I am very excited to note that governor Wike has finally joined the race, adding he has all it takes to rescue this country from total collapse, I congratulate him and we are ready to mobilize support for him,” he said.

With Nyesom Ezenwo Wike at the centre, the security architecture of the country will change for the better and other sectors will equally be revived,” he said.

On the clamour for zoning or rotation of power as a principle, Commander Rissi said he does not believe in the system. “Zoning is a political arrangement that guarantees equity, fairness and justice we know, but I believe that the most competent person with the capacity should be encouraged to carry the mandate, after all what people need is development.

He said the same thing goes for those agitating for a Riverine governor. “the riverine and upland dichotomy has long been dismantled by the even development of the state by the present Wike administration, adding that whoever the cap fits should wear it especially considering one that would consolidate on the achievements of this administration.

On politicians who cross-carpets to other political parties at the middle of their tenure, the security Expert said the practice is not healthy for the system. He made it known that if a politician is no longer satisfied with his present party, the better option is for him to either wait till the end of his tenure as according to him the electorate voted for a political party and not personality, or drop the mandate he was given and cross-carpet. “Besides that action normally disorganizes the system as in the example of governor Obaseke of Edo State.

The Man O’ War Commander used the opportunity to appeal to the security agents in the country to work in synergy to protect lives and property while respecting each other, in course of their work.

While agreeing that security is everybody’s business, Rev Rissi advocated for a synergy among the Local Government Chairmen, the Traditional Rulers and the youth bodies.
