Jubilant Landlords, Tenants Appreciate Hon. Nwankwo

The entire landlords, Tenants and indeed Non-Indigenes residing and doing business at the “Galaxy and London” Estate, Umuebule II Community of Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State have expressed their gratitude to the incoming candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to represent the Etche Constituency II in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon Chimezie Nwankwo for coming to their rescue to fix their roads which had remained impassable for years despite their cries to the authorities even when he is yet to be voted into the office.

According to Mr Levi Dimakuji who conducted the crowd round the once deplorable road, “this road has damaged many vehicles and killed/injured some school pupils without help coming from anywhere despite our cries to the authorities who kept on making empty promises to us”, he narrated.

While singing his praises, the jubilant beneficiaries promised the amiable politician that they were ready to mobilize support for him come next year to ensure his electoral victory at the polls.

The spokesman of the people made it clear that with politicians like Hon. Nwankwo the dividends of democracy will certainly go round everybody.

He further disclosed that the people will start by mobilizing themselves to register and acquire their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) to not only do the needful but to monitor and deliver the candidate whom he said has shown them love even without constituency allocation.

It would be recalled that the residents, as well as businessmen and women operating in the area have suffered much untold hardship as a result of the deplorable condition of the roads including constant power outage from Power Holding Company and floods which also threatens to submerge their houses especially whenever it rains.

“But with the coming of this honourable Chimezie Nwankwo, the people of this area and indeed Etche Constituency II as a whole will heave a sigh of relieve. A case of when the righteous rules, the people rejoice”.
