Amaechi Die-Hard Loyalist, Woherem, Dumps APC

An ardent supporter and die-hard loyalist to the immediate past Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, Eze Anthony Ndamzi Woherem has resigned his membership of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Eze Woherem quit the party, Friday, July 22, 2022 due to what he called multiple insensitivity of the APC national leadership, saying such recklessness showcases APC as discriminatory and bigoted.

He wondered why the leadership of the party could be so adamant and not see the deep cracks on the walls of APC and refused to proffer solutions to it, adding that their actions would not allow the party to move forward because they don’t consider the unity of the party.

Eze Woherem, a chieftain of the party in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Ward 13, said as an ardent supporter of the former minister, he has worked for the party selflessly with his hard earned money without being considered for any political appointment or other benefits for the past 16 years.

He regretted that the APC as a party does not reward hard work and party loyalty, hence, he has to dump the party but promised to make public his new party soon.

He thanked the leader of the party, Rt. Hon. Amaechi, APC chairman in Rivers State, Hon. Emeka Beke, Hon. Chikodi .O. Dike, leader of APC in Obio/Akpor, Hon. Sydney Nyeche and other esteemed members of ward 13 for giving him the privilege and massive support to serve the party even at the grassroots level.
